Descrizione
Double-sided Rotorelief part of the series of six kinetic artworks. These discs were meant to be ‘played’ on a turntable at 33 1/3 in order to create optical illusions. This artwork was featured in “Dreams That Money Can Buy” (1947) an experimental feature color film written, produced, and directed by Hans Richter. The film was produced by Kenneth Macpherson and Peggy Guggenheim. Collaborators included Max Ernst, Marcel Duchamp, Man Ray, Alexander Calder, Darius Milhaud and Fernand Léger. Music for Duchamp's clip by John Cage.
