The Boston shaker designed by Ettore Sottsass with advice from Alberto Gozzi is a crystal glass belonging to the cocktail set of the same name. This represents the well-established principle in Ettore Sottsass that products should serve to enhance the user experience, rather than prove purely functional. The Boston shaker was later produced by Alessi.
