Description
"The very choice of drawing as a medium highlights Farber's penchant for lightness, for amusements, for immediacy. [...] It's noticeable in these works that many figurative mechanisms are taken directly from the mass media. Repeating characters, for example, that we can follow in numerous adventures. Some are imported directly from pop culture, like Dracula or The Fantastic Four; other are brand new, Jeffrey, the little man with the crocodile-like head. Nearly all have their own name and, when it's missing, it's because they're figures with a very high narrative characterisation: the child, the soldier, the cat, the exotic animal. All these heroes are progressively prtrayed in situation with a very high narrative content [...] or which, however, there is no beginning or end." - Guido Bartorelli, "Dracula. Neil Farber"
